On the second day, India extended their innings with a score of 204/6. Karun Nair completed his fifty on the first day. England faltered after stormy start

For India, Yashasvi Jaiswal started the innings in a flamboyant style. Interestingly, Jaiswal completed his fifty with a tremendous six, KL Rahul was dismissed for just 7 runs, while Sai Sudarshan became a victim of unusual bounce in the pitch, who was dismissed for 11 runs
