New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed a writ petition filed by Justice Yashwant Verma of the Allahabad High Court. The petition challenged the internal inquiry report in which he was convicted. At the same time, the then Chief Justice of India Sanjeev Khanna had recommended to the President and the Prime Minister to remove Justice Verma.
