Shut down: Repair of breach under GSFC bridge 10 lakh people will not get water

Repairs were carried out by five teams of water supply from 12 noon on Tuesday after a breach in the main line coming from Raika-Daudka under chhani bridge. While the work of connecting with the line coming from Raika to get 12 MLD more water, cutting the feeder line that is obstructing the work of Raika WTP, removing the line coming to the foundation of the bridge near Abacus Circle will be completed in 24 hours. Due to this shutdown, there was no water in the command area of 8 Tank-11 boosters on Tuesday evening, while people will not get water even on Wednesday morning. Water will be distributed in the evening following the possibility of completion of this work at 12 noon.
