Ahmedabad's wanted accused arrested from Orissa: Several offences including murder, assault, rioting and prohibition against the accused, Vatva police went to Orissa and carried out an arrest operation

In a major breakthrough, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch has nabbed Abhishek alias Bablu Keshavsinh Rajput, an accused in a serious crime case wanted since 2021, from Odisha. Bablu, 31, was booked for a total of 12 offences, including assault, murder, rioting and the Arms Act, at various police stations in the city. Vatva police arrested him from Bhubaneswar and further investigation is underway. The accused was wanted since 2021 Ahmedabad: Abhishek alias Bablu Keshavsinh Rajput, a wanted accused in various crimes of 2021, 2023 and 2024, has been arrested from Odisha by Vatva police station in Ahmedabad. Abhishek alias Bablu, who is 31 years old, works as a driver. A total of 12 offences such as assault, murder and prohibition have been registered against the accused in the past. These include three offences from Vatva police station, three from Amraiwadi police station, two from Ramol police station, two from Narol police station and two from DCB police station. He was wanted in these crimes since 2021. A team from Vatva police station went to Odisha and successfully arrested him. Police arrested the accused and initiated legal proceedings. In particular, the accused was arrested for the offence of Arms Act of Orissa Airport Police Station in Bhubaneswar. Apart from this, a case of Arms Act was also registered against Abhishek alias Bablu at DCB police station in Ahmedabad. In his criminal history, crimes of murder, assault, rioting and prohibition have also been registered in different police stations. According to the police, the man was already living here and used to travel to different parts of the country and commit crimes himself. It is also being investigated whether he is involved in any other crimes after his arrest and further legal action will be taken accordingly.
