If the match does not start by the cut-off time i.e. 11.14 pm, then the match will be declared canceled. According to the BCCI rules, when it rains, the match officials try to play at least 5-5 overs in both innings. If this does not happen, the match is declared canceled.
If you look at the batting line-up of Kolkata Knight Riders, there are batsmen like Rovman Powell, Rinku Singh and Ramandeep who can bat stormily. Looking at Punjab's batting line-up, it will be very important for KKR to score at least 55-60 runs on the scoreboard.
