World Cancer Day: Although the consumption of cigarettes, pan-masala is poisonous for health, the proportion of people who consume them is increasing alarmingly. Ahmedabad Civil Medicity Cancer Hospital has registered 2352 oral cancer patients in one year. Of these, 1931 were male and 421 were female. Oral cancer alone accounts for 19 per cent of the cancer patients diagnosed every year at the Civil Cancer Hospital.
