Vadodara Firing Incident: A firing incident took place in Vadodara's Dandiya Bazaar area late at night. Panic prevailed among locals after a man fired in the air near the Navdurga temple near Kaka Saheb Tekra. ASI commits suicide by hanging 6 months before retirement

 An ASI living in Vadodara, Tarsali and working in the Motor Transport Department, committed suicide due to unknown reasons six months before  his retirement . Police have launched an investigation to  ascertain the reason behind the suicide. According to the information received, 57-year-old Krishnakant  Shivsingh, a resident of Tarsali Anu Society, was working in  the motor transport department of the Sorthia police  headquarters.

Vadodara: A couple who was injured in an accident on the road leading from Soma Lake to Kapurai Chowk in Dabhoi Road died while undergoing treatment.Kantibhai Manabhai Rawad and his wife Shantaben (65), residents of Akshar Tenement near Kapurai Chowkdi, were returning home from their son's house in Khodiyarnagar on July 7  with a moped. Vadodara, Nov 12 (IANS) Long queues are being witnessed in Vadodara city and district for booking of domestic LPG bottles, while domestic gas bottles are being used openly on food lorries.Domestic gas bottles have been given priority by controlling the supply of commercial gas in the country due to the impact of the Gulf War on gas supply. People are scrambling to get subsidised gas bottles. Some people have started trying to get another bottle immediately even though they have a gas bottle. However, due to restrictions on commercial gas bottles, its supply and consumption have decreased.

Vadodara, Nov 12 : During a wedding ceremony at Pirodnagar in Sherkhi village near Vadodara. Four people were injured in a deadly attack between two parties over the issue of molestation of a girl. It did.The girl, a resident of Sherkhi Pirodnagar, was identified as Pratapsinh Arjunsinh Parmar. A total of 11 persons, including four women, have been booked at the taluka police station.
