There have been several instances of oil being stolen in Kandla with the help of different modus operandi in the past, in the meantime, a 700-litre CPO worth Rs. 66,500, stolen after luring tanker drivers in Kandla's Kesar parking lot, was stolen in a Travera car without an oil number. Vadodara: In Vadodara, there is no police fault with the criminals who are openly committing crimes in public. An estate broker was first run over the road near J.P. Road police station and killed, then abducted in a car and taken to Sunpharma Road and cattle were killed there. Power company's underground cable cut at four places in Atladara and Kalli
Vadodara: As many as 20,000 connections of Central Gujarat Electricity Company (GGPCL) were cut off at four places in Atladara and Kalli areas, disrupting power supply to around 20,000 connections.Sources in the power company say that the contractors of The Vadodara Gas Company show the workers the places to dig pits to lay the line, however, during this work, the contractor or his supervisor is not present and in many places the workers are digging indiscriminately due to lack of guidance.
