Man arrested for stealing Tampa from four locations in the city

Vadodara: DCB  police have arrested a man accused of stealing tempos from different areas of the city. During his interrogation, the mystery of four crimes has been solved.Four tempos were stolen from the city. During the investigation, the DCB  police investigated on the basis of CCTV footage and  technical sources, and found the movement of  Sukhdev Singh Sohal, the accused in the truck and tempo theft, to be suspicious. Vadodara: Three people, including the driver, were injured when a rickshaw overturned near L&T Circle  in Vadodara. Advocate Smitaben Natwarbhai Vaghela, a resident of Saraswati Nagar on New Sama Road, had gone to the Mandvi branch of Bank of Baroda on October 7. After finishing work, he was coming home in an auto-rickshaw.   The driver let the rickshaw go when the signal was turned on. In the meantime, the road from Amit Nagar Bridge to L&T Circle was closed but the rickshaw overturned due to an accident involving a car driver.

Jewellers living in Vemali go missing after leaving for shop

Vadodara: A jeweller living in Vemali near Vadodara went missing under mysterious circumstances after leaving home in the morning on the pretext of going to his jewellery shop in Desar on March 3.According to the information received, 44-year-old  Harshad Gopaldas Soni, a resident of Vraj Residency in Vemali, left home at 9.30 am on March 3 after telling his wife Pritiben that he was going to her shop named New Bachubhai Jewellers at Desar. Under normal circumstances, they come home in the evening but they do not return.

Vadodara, Nov 6 (UNI) Three persons have been arrested for allegedly cruelly transporting dumb animals from Borsad to Trend.According to the information received, the Jeevadaya activists chased two closed body tempos on the Delhi-Mumbai Bharatmala highway from Vasad to Surat and stopped the two tempos near Samiyala-Padra Cut on the Delhi-Mumbai-Bharatmala highway. Searching both Tampa, they found a large number of buffaloes inside.The buffaloes were found to be brutally tied with ropes in the closed body vehicle and no fodder or water was provided for them.

Vadodara: A 21-year-old engineering student drowned after taking a bath with his friends in the Mahi river on the outskirts of Lachanpura village in Savli taluka. Rakesh Gokul Prasad Gupta, a resident of Aradhana Duplex in Gorwa Laxmipura area of Vadodara, has informed the Savli police station that  his son Divya left home on the morning of May 4 saying that he was going to the computer studio.
