 Vadodara: An elderly man was admitted to Sayaji Hospital for treatment after he was attacked by a crocodile while he had gone to fetch water in the river. But their lives could not be saved.Ranjitbhai Chhaganbhai Rathod, 55, a resident of Maganad village in Jambusar taluka of Bharuch district, died last year. Vadodara: Police have arrested one more person for allegedly duping the manager of a private company in Vadodara on the pretext of whitening him of Rs 1.75 crore.Mansoorali Jafarali Pathan , who lives in Bangalore, Karnataka, currently lives in Wadala, East Mumbai. At manjalpur police station, he was arrested last year. The complaint was lodged on 29-11-2024, stating , "I am a resident of Melot Technology Pvt. Ltd. located in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.

Vadodara: Seven to eight vehicles parked on the side of the road were hit by a rashebaaz  car driver in Khodiyar Nagar area of Vadodara at night. A woman  was also injured while walking. People picked up the driver of the car and offered him methipak. Following the incident DCP Panna Momaya rushed to the spot and dispersed the mob.Car drivers are caught driving four-wheelers every day in the city. In some cases, the lives  of innocent pedestrians are also put at risk.

Father commits suicide after being fed up with son and daughter-in-law's torture

Vadodara: A 55-year-old man, who lived in the trench of Dayal Bhawan near Kankuwala's lane on Rajmahal Road, committed suicide by hanging himself after being fed up with the torture of his son and daughter-in-law.
