Vadodara: As many as 16,774 students who dropped out of classes 1 to 10 in government, granted, and private schools in Vadodara city have been readmitted from April.According to the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan office, around 10,000 of these students have been persuaded to study again and they have been admitted to different schools. Out of these, 2891 students have migrated.

Retired Army man dies on footpath in Kamatibagh due to illness

A retired Army man living in Vadodara, Agra  died due to illness on  the footpath of Kamatibagh. The Sayajiganj police have taken legal action in this regard.According to police sources, the body of an unidentified elderly man was found on the footpath outside Kamatibagh at around eight pm last night. The Sayajiganj police were informed about the incident. He has been sent to Sayaji Hospital.

Vadodara youth dies after being attacked in Garudeshwar

Vadodara: A 19-year-old man living at Warasia in Vadodara had gone to Garudeshwar with his brother to catch pigs.   The dispute took place due to a boundary dispute.
