Two accidents in a day in Jhalod: One nephew and another father died on the road
Two persons were killed in two fatal road accidents at different places in Jhalod taluka. In both the incidents, accidents were caused by the over-speeding and negligent driving of the motorists. In one incident, a young man died while undergoing treatment after his motorcycle was hit by an unnumbered tractor, while in another incident, his father died during the evacuation after being hit by an Eco car. The district food department has busted a factory in Unjha city that was coating jaggery with jaggery, brown, black and green powder on fennel straw. A total of 13,258 kg loose quantity of suspected cumin worth Rs 7.29 lakh was seized from the factory. 4 samples including powder have been sent for testing. Vadodara: Police have interrogated a shopkeeper in Manjalpur area with a stock of muscular power and hormonal drugs that are harmful to health.A team led by Crime Branch PI RG Jadeja investigated the sale of suspicious medicines at a shop named Siddhi Nutrition in Devpushp Complex near Tulsidham crossroads in Manjalpur.During which the police found different brands of steroids and nutritional supplements imported from abroad.

Vadodara: The body of a youth who went missing four days ago was recovered from a water harvesting well in the compound of Jeevansadana School in Nagarwada area.In Nagarwada area, someone noticed a foul smell emanating from the well behind the compound of Jeevan Sadhana School.
