'Bharat Mata Ki Jai': Trailer of '120 Bahadur' - The Culmination of Valour, the Story of Indian Heroes' Reply to the Treacherous Dragon in 1962

India's first war film, Haqeeqat (1964), was based on the 1962 Indo-China war. However, since then, not many films have been made depicting the war or the India-China conflict. Now, Farhan Akhtar's '120 Bahadur' will present a heart-wrenching story of this war on the big screen. Ever since the first poster of the film was released, there has been a lot of curiosity among film lovers. Now, the trailer of '120 Bahadur' has finally been released. '120 Bahadur' - The Culmination of Valour The trailer reveals that the film is based on the true story of the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 India-China War. In this incident, a contingent of 3,000 Chinese soldiers suddenly attacked an Indian post. A company of the 13th Kumaon Regiment under the command of Major Shaitan Singh was stationed at this Indian post. Standing on a 5500-metre-high post, with only 120 soldiers, Shaitan Singh refused to retreat. He vowed to fight till the last bullet, till the last man. Farhan Akhtar plays the role of Major Shaitan Singh in the film. It also stars Vivaan Bhatena, Ankit Siwach and Hussain Dalal in supporting roles. Raashi Khanna plays the wife of Major Shaitan Singh in the film. How's the trailer? The trailer begins with Amitabh Bachchan's voice, describing the situation in 1962. Then the fight scene of the soldiers is shown. A soldier asking for a jacket is told, "Kill your first Chinese soldier and take his jacket." This dialogue briefly depicts a situation when our soldiers lacked the necessary resources to survive in the inaccessible valleys on the India-China border. Farhan Akhtar's character is seen talking to his wife about going to war following a standard war-drama template. The trailer then starts with scenes of war and fighting. These scenes are the highlights of the "120 Brave" trailer. The film's production values and visuals are strong. The camerawork in the fight and action scenes is impressive. The score of the film adds to the power of these scenes. However, the dialogues seem like an average war drama. Such films often derive the most significant pressure from the dialogues. Overall, the trailer suggests that '120 Bahadur' is a strong film. Other promotional material to be released in the coming days will determine whether it has the X-factor to pull the audience to the theatres. Director Rajneesh Ghai's '120 Bahadur' will hit the theatres on November 21.
