UAE issues urgent recall of Nestle infant formula over toxin risk

The Emirates Drug Establishment has initiated a voluntary recall of specific Nestlé infant formulas due to the presence of Bacillus cereus bacteria in a raw ingredient. While no illnesses have been reported in the UAE, the toxin produced by the bacteria is heat-stable and can cause food poisoning symptoms. Similar warnings have been issued in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait.
