India FTA by year end, says European Commission president

Prime Minister Modi met with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and EU leaders Ursula von der Leyen and Antonio Costa at the G7 summit. Discussions focused on the upcoming India-EU Free Trade Agreement, expected to be signed by year-end, and advancements in the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor. Leaders also welcomed the understanding reached for peace in West Asia.
