Nike employees divert $2 million in Nike shoes from a Memphis warehouse in a cargo theft scheme

Federal prosecutors in the US have charged 12 people in an alleged scheme that diverted at least $2 million worth of Nike shoes from the company's Memphis logistics centre. According to the indictment, unauthorised UPS shipping labels were used to redirect thousands of cartons to resellers across the country. The defendants deny no charges yet, and the allegations will be tested in court.
