A father allegedly murdered his 13-day-old daughter in Chikkaballapura. He was reportedly upset that his second child was also a girl. The accused father has been arrested by the local police. Investigators became suspicious after relatives described the death as accidental drowning. The infant was recovered from an underground water sump at the in-laws' residence.
