KKR deepens India healthcare bet with $1.39 billion Medicover acquisition

Global investment firm KKR has acquired Medicover India's hospital network for $1.39 billion. This acquisition marks KKR's third hospital purchase in recent years. Medicover India operates 24 multi-specialty hospitals across South and West India. The European healthcare chain will now focus its operations solely within the continent. This transaction allows Medicover to strengthen its financial position and pursue European growth.
