Govt eases rules for non-resident heirs to inherit Karnataka farm land

Karnataka has simplified rules for transferring inherited agricultural land records. Non-resident Indians and legal heirs can now easily update land ownership. Digitally issued family tree and heir certificates are now accepted for the process. Indian heirs must submit Aadhaar for mandatory e-KYC authentication. Foreign citizens will provide passport copies, while foreign-only families need court succession certificates.
