Following his statement, five individuals were questioned by police regarding the matter. Two minors remain under interrogation, while three others were released after questioning. Former CM Siddaramaiah has filed a complaint alleging a conspiracy to damage his reputation. Union minister HD Kumaraswamy has criticized the state government for targeting JD(S) workers instead.
