Biocon settles US patent dispute with Roche's Genentech, eyes 2027 Perjeta biosimilar launch
Biocon announced a settlement with Genentech over its biosimilar, Pebrilzo, of the cancer drug Perjeta. The agreement allows Biocon to launch Pebrilzo in early 2027 in the UK and EU, and in late 2028 in the US. In response to Genentech's patent infringement suit, the New Jersey court dismissed the case at Genentech's request. The details of the settlement agreement remain confidential between the companies involved.
