4498 bottles of liquor recovered from drum: Liquor worth Rs 23.06 lakh seized near Dena Bridge

A total of 4498 liquor bottles worth Rs 23.06 lakh and Rs 36 lakh worth of valuables were seized from a drum filled in containers and pickups from the service road near Dena Bridge. Police have arrested 4 people and declared liquor supplier Sunil Chaudhary wanted. The police are investigating who ordered the liquor in Vadodara. Harni PI S V Vasava said, "On March 11, we received information that liquor was being cut from a container to a pickup on the service road from Dena Bridge to Golden Chowk. The police found liquor worth Rs 23.06 lakh while checking the truck and the drum loaded in the pickup truck of Vadodara Passing. The police arrested four accused from the spot and seized a total of Rs 36.19 lakh. The four accused have been identified as Asif Khan Zubair Khan (Haryana), Hamid Hussain Din Mohammed (Haryana), Ajmal Hassan Tahir Hassan Pathan (Chhani) and Atiq Ahmed Vakil Ahmed Pathan (Gorwa). Fatehganj's bootlegger Javed & Co dominated the city The SMC had cracked down on bootleggers in the city including Gujsitok. As a result, the Sindhi gang supplying liquor in the city was disbanded. Taking advantage of this, the Muslim gang has become active. In which bootleggers including Imran Darbar, Khalid, Riyaz, Javed, Ranko and Kalu have dominated. Liquor was being imported into the city by the railways. With the publication of the reports, the order of liquor from the railways has stopped. Javed & Company, a bootlegger from Fatehganj, is believed to have ordered the liquor by road.
