When the whole world is celebrating Mother's Day, a commendable effort was made in Vadodara to spread awareness about maternal and women's health. Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Homeopathy Medical College & Hospital organised a health check-up camp and free medicine distribution program at Bakerishwara Society in Majarpur area of the city. In this service activity, an initiative was taken by 'Samvatvam Yogashala'. Sanitary pads were distributed to all the housemaid sisters working in the society and guided them on menstrual hygiene. The main objective of the programme was to create awareness among women to remove their health carelessness. Gynaecological diseases and common ailments were diagnosed by specialist doctors during this camp. Around 80 women took advantage of the health check-up camp. In the team of doctors. Preeti Jha, Dr. Vandana and Dr. Mandeep rendered selfless services by staying on his feet. The event was organized under the guidance of Yogacharya Rama Vatsa, Founder of Samtvam Yogashala and Vice President of Surya Foundation. He said that various programmes will be organized throughout the month.
