This is a huge achievement for India this year, as not one or two but 10 Indian films have reached this prestigious award ceremony. Notably, Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1' and Anupam Kher's 'Tanvi the Great' have made their place for the most important category of the Oscars, the Best Picture. 'Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1': Produced by Homble Films, the film tells the story of the origins of Daiva Puja in Tulunadu during the 4th century Kadamba dynasty. 'Tanvi the Great': Directed by Anupam Kher, the film is based on the character of Tanvi Raina (played by Shubhangi), a girl with autism.
