Police have also seized a large cache of arms and ammunition in the northeastern state of Assam. The Assam Police on Saturday conducted a raid in the forests of Karbi Anglong district of the state and seized  weapons and explosives , believed to belong to the terror outfit Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA).

Explosives seized in Jammu and Kashmir

Terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir are not taking the name of stopping. Arms are being collected by setting up godowns in the state to carry out terrorist activities. On Saturday, security forces seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition in Ramban district of the Union Territory. The raids and seizures took place during raids on the hideouts of a suspected terrorist.  Security forces have been put on alert after arms and ammunition were seized in several areas.

Jammu and Kashmir security forces succeed in seizing arms

Security forces have achieved major success in anti-militancy operations in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The recovery has been made in the forests of Khari tehsil of Ramban district of the state. A large quantity of arms and other items have been recovered in a joint search operation by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Army. An Army spokesman said that the recovery was made during the operation at a suspected hideout of the terrorist.  30 bullets of 9MM, one magazine, 6 magazines of AK Rifle, one grenade, one tape recorder, a handset with antenna and cassette were recovered. Police have registered a case under the Arms Act and The Explosive Substances Act.
