What is the effect on the digestive system?
The biggest debate between these two milk is about digestion. Research has shown that when we drink A1 milk, a peptide called BCM-7 (beta-morphine-7) is formed in the body during its digestion. According to experts, this can cause some people to have problems like gas, bloating and abdominal pain after drinking milk. In contrast, A2 is very little or no BCM-7 during milk digestion, which is why it is considered light for the stomach and easy to digest.
So is A2 milk really healthier?
It is definitely claimed that A2 milk is more beneficial for the body. Some research also says that it improves digestion and is good for gut health. However, experts also clarify that there is no 100 percent solid scientific evidence yet to prove that A2 milk is better than A1 for everyone.
