Ahmedabad food poisoning: 57 girls living in girls' hostel suffer from food poisoning

Ahmedabad, 57 girl students were found guilty of food poisoning. According to reports, 57 girls living in the SP Girls' Hostel in Memnagar area of Ahmedabad were suffering from food poisoning. Around 900 girl students are staying in the girls' hostel run by the trust. Of these, 57 students complained of diarrhoea, vomiting and fever yesterday. Soon after, the students were rushed to a nearby private hospital for treatment. At the same time, 57 students were affected by food poisoning and the health department of the corporation was rushed to the spot.

According to the preliminary investigation by the officials of the

Health Department, the students had eaten things including pani puri-dabeli outside. In the last 2-3 days, I have eaten dishes like khichdi and sev khamani in the hostel. As many as 18 students are still undergoing treatment. While the rest of the students are in good health. Currently, the AMC team has taken samples from the hostel and conducted further investigation.
