Airtel launches IQ Gateway, everything from SMS to WhatsApp on one platform
Airtel IQ Gateway: As important as it is for companies in today's world to deliver the right messages to users at the right time, it is equally important to manage these communication channels securely. Dependency on different systems and vendors for various services such as SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, and business calls can often complicate business operations. Airtel Business has launched its new Airtel IQ Gateway to address this issue. The company is calling it India's first business communication platform that works with telecom-grade network intelligence.

Companies can manage all their communication channels through an integrated dashboard. It also provides real-time analytics and delivery reporting, which helps in monitoring whether messages are being delivered correctly><

The platform also has the feature of automatic switching on backup service providers and intelligent routing between communication channels. This means that if a communication channel or service fails, the system can switch to another available option. It can be used to detect fraudulent account creation, account takeover, and sudden increases in artificial traffic. The company has also emphasized protection against SMS Pumping Fraud, in which bots generate large amounts of fraudulent international OTP traffic, which can increase the messaging costs of companies.
IQ Gateway has Silent Authentication
IQ Gateway. It checks whether the mobile number is linked to the active SIM card in the user's device. According to Airtel, this can reduce dependency on OTP-based login in some cases and help reduce risks such as SIM-Swap and Social Engineering.
