In Delhi’s Atal Canteens, food to fill a stomach

For thousands of people, Atal Canteens have become a daily stop for a meal that costs ₹5. In December 2025, the Delhi government started the first canteens. They are now at 100 locations across the city, providing close to 50,000 meals every day. Nikhil M.
