Bengaluru Attack Case: A 20-year-old woman and her friend were attacked in the Warthur police station area under Whitefield division of Bengaluru. The police have arrested a total of five people, including three women, in connection with the case. The incident took place at Labourers Colony on Balagare Road late on Friday night.
According to theFIR, the victim, who hails from another state, was present at her home around 10:30 pm on April 3. Then some people forcibly entered his shed. The accused had wooden sticks, with which they attacked the woman and her male friend. Both were injured in this attack. The accused accused the woman's friend of having an illicit relationship with her.

The victim told the police that she goes to work every morning and the accused had been following her for the past several days. They used to harass her and ask for her phone number, but the woman refused to give the number. On Friday night, when she returned from work, an acquaintance came to give her water. The accused then reached there and attacked both of them.

According topolice, the attack took place when the victim protested against the harassment being inflicted by these youths on the way. The dispute escalated and the accused attacked. The police have arrested Baban (A3), Fatay Dafdar (A5), Sukhnar Khatoon (A6), Seema (A7) and Asura Khatoon (A8) in this case. At the same time, Jamshid (A1), Tukoon (A2) and Noor (A4) are still absconding, whose search is on.

The woman sustained injuries on her right hand, waist and head in the attack. The victim said the assailants threatened to kill her and also threatened her to leave Bengaluru. The police have registered a case under sections 118(1), 351(2), 74, 352, 3(5) and 78(2) of the Indian Judicial Code (BNS). At present, the police is investigating the whole case and the search for the absconding accused is going on.
