Accident: Bolero hits rickshaw-bike by jumping divider near Manjusar GIDC, rickshaw driver critical

On the Savli-Manjusar road, the driver of the Bolero lost control of the steering wheel and the Bolero came to the other side of the road due to the cut of the divider and hit the rickshaw and the bike. The rickshaw driver sustained serious injuries due to the accident and was rushed to Sayaji Hospital for treatment. The police recently detained the Bolero driver and took action against him. Abdul Karim Rana, a resident of Wankaner, had come to Vadodara on Tuesday morning to fill gas in a rickshaw and was returning from there. They were passing in front of the gate of Manjusar GIDC when suddenly a Bolero car came from the opposite direction and rammed into Abdul Karim's rickshaw and another bike. The rickshaw and bike crashed into the wall due to the accident. The rickshaw was crushed in the incident. Following the accident, people in the vicinity rushed to the spot and Abdul Karim was rushed to Sayaji Hospital by a 108 ambulance. Abdul Karim suffered fractured rib bones and is in critical condition. His son Mosin lodged a complaint at Manjusar police station. Investigations revealed that the driver of the car lost control of the steering wheel and the divider cut came to the other side of the road. The car was diverted to avoid the dumper loaded with sand The owner of the car, Anil Rathod, said the car belonged to a taxi passing and was being driven by a driver named Aniket. Meanwhile, a dumper filled with sand was coming on the road. To avoid it, he took the car to the other side. Due to this, the bike and the rickshaw were damaged. He was coming from Savli towards his home in Vadodara.
