A huge explosion occurred at a military base in the western city of Viacha in the South American country of Bolivia on Friday. More than 10 people were killed in the accident, while at least 58 people were injured. According to officials, the death toll could be between 10 and 15. Bolivian Defense Minister Ernesto Justiniano said that most of the injured were 52 civilians, while the rest were military personnel. According to the Defense Minister, the explosion took place at around 2:30 pm local time at the place where the fireworks were kept. After the accident, rescue forces began to treat the injured and help their families. Authorities have launched an investigation to find out the cause of the explosion.
