The film was initially slated to release on January 22, 2026, but now it has been announced that 'Border 2' will be released in theatres on the Republic Day weekend next year, i.e. on January 23, 2026. 'Border 2' is being directed by Anurag Singh. It stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Medha Rana, Mona Singh and Sonam Bajwa in the lead roles.
