Centenary celebrations of Rajput community in Godhra: Kirtidan Gadhvi and Mayabhai Ahir's folk dairo held

The 'Shatabdi Year' is being celebrated to mark the completion of 100 years of the Rajput community in Panchmahal district. As part of the celebrations, a Lok Diara was organised at the grounds of New Era School in Godhra city. In which artists like Kirtidan Gadhvi and Mayabhai Ahir performed. At the beginning of Diara, Kirtidan Gadhvi performed folk songs and bhajans. Mayabhai Ahir then entertained the audience by presenting folklore and humour. Rajya Sabha MP Kesharidevsinh Zala and Dr. Jaswantsinh Parmar, Panchmahal district MP Rajpalsinh Jadhav, Godhra MLA C.K. Rahulji, Godhra Range IG Dignitaries including R V Asari and district police chief Haresh Dudhat were present. The event was attended by a large number of Rajput community leaders, youth and citizens of Godhra city from various talukas of Panchmahal district. The raid went on till late at night.
