'I don't know if Govinda was a human being or a machine!': Choreographer Chinni Prakash says 'he used to take the song to a different level with his style'
Choreographer Chinni Prakash recently spoke about her relationship with Govinda. He said that Govinda is a very hardworking person. His dance gave a new identity to Bollywood. There was a time when Govinda used to shoot four to six films in a day. This is a great example of their hard work and dedication. Speaking to 'Friday Talkies', Chinni Prakash said, "Govinda's schedule was very difficult and exhausting. "I have never seen an actor like him. There was a time in his life when he used to shoot four to six films a day. I don't know if they were humans or machines, but they did it for many years." 'We get tired of just one shooting. Even if he comes late, he'll finish all the work when he arrives. But he cannot be expected to reach the sets at exactly 9 pm, as he could have been on the sets of another film at that time." He said that working with Govinda requires constant agility and flexibility as he is a very creative and self-employed artist. Prakash said, "Whatever you do, he will do something different. So you had to prepare your mind to do something that didn't require it to say anything. I had very good assistants. He would show Govinda the steps and then Govinda would take those steps to new heights.' Chinni said, 'Both Raveena and Govinda had a wonderful style for 'Akhiyon Se Goli Mare'. We had only one camera, a trolley, a garden location and a simple crane, but his performance took the song to another level. Ultimately, it all depends on the talent of the actors." Chinni Prakash revealed that his association with Govinda started with the film 'Pyaar Karke Dekho'. "At that time, Govinda was very close to another choreographer and wanted him to sing the song. But director S. Ramanathan insisted that I sing it. Then 'Pyaar Karke Dekho' began. Govinda became very close to me after that film. He introduced me to Mukul Anand," he said.
