Supriya Shrinate reacts to Kangana Ranaut's 'Hindu' remark

Congress party has hit back by targeting her.

Kangana Ranaut?

Congress leader Supriya Shrinate shared a video post targeting BJP MP Kangana Ranaut on social media platform X on Monday (August 3, 2026) evening. In the post, Congress leader Supriya Shrinate said, Kangana ji wants to convert from moderate Hindu to Sanghi Hindu, but sister, there is no entry of women in the Sangh, how will it happen?"

Kangana spoke on what issue?

Kangana Ranaut shared a video on the social media platform Instagram and said, ' We have seen and known many such Hindu sisters and daughters in the film industry, who are Hindu, but they have no ideology about politics and religion. This is especially the case in the youth, they are very neutral, but as soon as they come in contact with an Islamist, whether it is friendship, marriage or relationship, then their thinking becomes so defined. They become so radical."

The BJP MP, referring to himself, further said, ' Now I will not defend myself that I did item songs. I have always been a moderate Hindu. Today, if I defend myself, I don't know how many daughters, who are called Leap, will not be able to take the leap. That's why I would say I was a moderate Hindu. That is why today they are taunting me that since when did you become a Sanghi? Yes, I want to be a confederate. I have to become the ideology of the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). I want to convert. Why can't I convert?"
