On Thursday afternoon, an F-16C Fighting Falcon of the Hellenic Air Force suffered a technical failure during flight. The incident took place on July 9 when a fighter jet of the 116th Combat Wing had taken off from the Araxos airbase in the Peloponnese. But it was forced to turn to the commercial airport on the southern Greek island.
