Vadodara: A woman riding a moped hit a security guard on his way to work on a bicycle and fell unconscious after he was hit by a moped. He died during treatment.
According to police sources, 73-year-old Haribhai Dahyabhai Makwana, a resident of Padra, was on his way to work as a security guard at Shrimaya Society on his bicycle after leaving Padra at 5.30 pm on July 10. In the meantime, a woman carrying a moped on the road from Narayan Wadi to Sun Pharma Road hit the bicycle and she fell unconscious after suffering a serious head injury. The injured succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Sayaji Hospital. The Atladara police have taken legal action against moped rider Pooja Sharma.
