Surat: It has started raining in the district along with Surat on Sunday, due to the rain in the district, the gulf passing through Surat is flowing on both the banks, there is a possibility of a gulf flood in Surat once again. Other zones have also been alerted along with sarthana zone on the gulf coast due to the fear of gulf flood. However, even though the creek did not overflow, there was a problem in vehicular traffic due to waterlogging on Kadodara Surat Road.
Due to the rains in Surat district, water from some areas of the district comes into the creek passing through Surat and due to this, the water of the gulf has started filling in the low line area due to the level of Mithi creek being 8 meters. Apart from this, ja chowk, Noore Elahi Nagar, Vambe Awas, Kamrunagar Sanjaynagar, located on the banks of the creek, have been flooded with rain water.
