Mystery of theft crimes solved: Two vehicle thieves with Rs 45,000 in the clutches of LCB from Sargasan and Randheja

A special drive was conducted by the Local Crime Branch (LCB) to curb the increasing incidents of vehicle theft in Gandhinagar city and surrounding rural areas for some time. As part of this operation, different teams of LCB nabbed two suspected vehicle thieves from Sargasan and Randheja crossings on the basis of specific information. The police have seized Rs 45,000 worth of stolen goods, including two stolen motorcycles, from the accused. Ishwar Prajapati arrested for stealing bike from under Sargasan Chowkadi bridge The team under the guidance of PI Diwan Singh Wala of Gandhinagar LCB was on patrol when they received information that a man was standing with a suspicious bike near the cut of Vavol village on the road leading from Sargasan Chowk to Mahatma Mandir. The police immediately set up a watch and arrested 52-year-old Ishwarbhai Keshavlal Prajapati (now a resident of Pramukh Araiz, Sargasan, Mool, Bilodara, T. Mansa) and a bike (No. GJ-09CB-9537) was taken into custody. During interrogation, he confessed that 15 days ago, he had stolen the bike from under the Sargasan Chowk bridge by opening the lock with the key he had. He was caught when he went out to sell the bike due to a shortage of money. Bharat Bhabhor caught stealing with master key from Dalbati Hotel In another raid, the LCB team received information that a suspect was going to pass by with a stolen bike near Randheja gate. The police set up a watch and seized the bike (No. GJ-18CC-0250) along with Bharat Govindbhai Akhamphai Bhabhor (originally resident of Batkwada, G. Mahisagar, present R/o Samau, T. Mansa). During interrogation, it came to light that he had stolen the bike parked in front of Dalbati Hotel on Pundrasan-Gandhinagar road three months ago by opening it with a lock master key. The bike was hidden at Borkuva in Samau village and was in the process of being sold when he was in need of money.
