Chief Justice of the High Court Justice Sunita Agrawal launched the 'Ujaas Ek Ashani Kiran' initiative for speedy resolution of matrimonial disputes in every district court from April 19, 2024. In Vadodara, 577 cases were brought to light in two years, out of which 117 were amicably resolved and the couple's marriage was saved from breakdown. The special bench of the court consists of 1 family judge, 1 trend mediator and 1 paralegal volunteer. Disputes between husband and wife can be resolved, they are resolved. The court directed the police and Abhayam to send the disputes to the Ujas centre before registering the cases. Settlement is possible without coming to court, without a lengthy process
