
Vadodara: The purse of the wife of a Goa businessman was stolen while she was travelling in an AC coach of a train and going to attend a wedding at a relative's house in Rajasthan. A purse containing jewellery worth Rs 10.30 lakh fled the spot.
Om Prakash Israram Bishnoi, a resident of Kurti Panda in South Goa and owner of Mahalaxmi Steel, a utensils shop in Zindagi Mall, said in his complaint at the railway police station, "My wife and I were travelling in an AC coach in the Bhavnagar Terminus train from Madgaon railway station to Ahmedabad as there was a wedding in Rajasthan. We had fallen asleep during the night journey when my wife woke up early in the morning to find her pink purse missing.
