One thing to note here is that due to local regulations, the cash payment facility will not be available in all countries. The payment company will provide you with that through a third party payoner for which details like ID proof and PAN card can be sought from the users. Google said that the final amount will be based on the daily exchange rate

Gugel has clarified that phones with liquid damage or physical damage will not be eligible for free battery service. In addition, if the phone is not under warranty and the screen is broken, the company will charge you a service fee for this.

Note: Google says the battery replacement facility will be available at walk-in repair centres in Canada, the US, Germany, the United Kingdom (UK), Japan, Singapore and India from July 21, 2025
