Plane window shattered at 30,000 feet: Passenger pulled out of the plane and hanged, wife grabbed both legs and brought him back from the mouth of death; Horrific incident in Greece's airspace

A major accident was averted when the window of a plane broke in the skies of Greece. The plane was at an altitude of 30,000 feet when the pressure in the cabin suddenly decreased and the window sheet came off. The 61-year-old passenger, who was sitting on the window sheet, had his head and shoulders protruding from the window. As soon as the passenger sitting next to him saw this, he immediately grabbed him and pulled him back inside the plane. A passenger said the old man's life was saved by his wife sitting next to him. As he stepped out of the window, his wife grabbed his legs tightly. The good thing was that the victim had tied a belt due to which he could not get out. The flight was en route from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Memingen, Germany. Airline company Ryanair said the passenger suffered some injuries. He has been admitted to a hospital for treatment where his condition is stable. The incident took place in Macedonia. The injured passenger is a Serbian tourist. He has suffered burn injuries. The plane took off from Thessaloniki at 5:55 a.m. (Greek time). According to Greek media reports, the window was shattered by a piece of debris separated from the plane's engine. However, this reason has not been officially confirmed. Ryanair said in a statement that the plane had to return to Thessaloniki shortly after takeoff due to a detached passenger window. The aircraft landed normally and all passengers were safely transported to the terminal. The airline said another plane was sent to transport the remaining passengers to Memingen. An investigation into the incident is underway.
