Vadodara, Nov 10: The State Vigilance has busted a huge drug racket brought from Punjab in Vadodara city. Film scenes were created as soon as a young man from Vadodara's Cantonment area came to Vadodara railway station with a quantity of heroin from a youth from Punjab. Seeing the police late at night, the youth of Chhani fled from platform number 1 with heroin and reached platform number 6 and was injured as soon as he jumped the wall and the vigilance seized heroin worth Rs 48 lakh.
According to the information received, Amrik Singh alias Sonu Sarwan Singh Malhi, a resident of Guru Nanak Nagar in Vadodara's Chhanijkatnaka area, was coming to Vadodara railway station by train from Rajasthan with a large quantity of heroin from a person from Punjab.
