Thousands of litres of water wasted as water pipeline collapses in Himmatnagar; The road to the railway station has been closed, the municipal corporation has started repair work.

Thousands of litres of water have been wasted due to the breakdown of the municipal drinking water pipeline in Himmatnagar. The incident led to waterlogging on the entrance to the railway station, causing difficulty for commuters. According to the information received, the water line was broken in Panchbatti area two days ago. At that time the municipality was said to have started repair work but the reality was different. An inspection at the spot this morning found that the pothole of the broken line was intact and no repairs were made. As a result, thousands of litres of water was continuously flowing from the pipeline onto the road, spilling onto the road leading to the railway station. Locals informed the municipality about this in the morning but initially no action was taken. After the water stopped flowing, the municipality came up with a JCB and started the repair work. Attempts were made to contact the chief officer of Himmatnagar Municipality and the head of the water supply department about the incident, but they could not be contacted.
