Vadodara: In order to save the heritage of the Char Darwaja area like the Vishwamitri project, it has been feared that if the time limit is not fixed before the rains, then these buildings will suffer major damage.
The residents of char darwaza area are deeply distressed to see the plight of the historic Mandvi and Laheripura gates. Recently, in the wake of the collapse of parts of the pillar of Mandvi Gate, the corporation officials took the help of the archaeology department.
Kirti Parikh, Jalpesh, Keshav, etc., residents of Char Darwaza area, have written a letter demanding to save the heritage of Mandvi as well as Laheripura Gate and fix a time frame like the Vishwamitri project.
