Action: Removal of illegal encroachments on State Highway in Vijpadi

The illegal encroachments were removed following the work on the state highway at Vijpadi in Savarkundla. In the meantime, there was a tight police presence. The state highway is passing through Vijpadi village in Savarkundla taluka. There were illegal encroachments on the state highway here. Today, the administration took action to remove these pressures. The demolition work was carried out with tight police security. Large trees were also uprooted here. Pressure removal operations were carried out here since early morning. Which lasted till night. The staff of PGVCL also joined in this work. Due to this, the power supply in Vijpadi was stopped since morning. The state highway is passing through Vijpadi. Today there was a scuffle for a while as the pressures on the highway were relieved.
