The Ministry of Education and Abu Dhabi's Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) have signed an agreement to set up a campus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in the Gulf country. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The move is part of a drive to make IITs global.
