Mega deal worth Rs 3.25 lakh crore: India creates history by giving LoR for purchase of 114 Rafale jets


India 114 Rafale Deal: India has sent a Letter of Intent (LOR) for a major government contract worth about Rs 3.25 lakh crore from France for the purchase of 114 Rafale fighter jets to give an unprecedented boost to the strength and combat capability of the Indian Air Force (IAF). The biggest feature of this project is that 94 out of 114 Rafale aircraft will be manufactured in India, which will give a major boost to the country's defence production.

Big decision ahead of PM Modi's visit to France

According to senior sources in the Ministry of Defence, the official request letter was sent to the French government by the acquisition department of the ministry last week.
