India reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 33%, contributes significantly to curbing earth's rising mercury

However, many efforts are being made to stop it in the world, in which a special target has been set to reduce its emissions in India. As part of these efforts, India has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 33 per cent in just 14 years, which has contributed significantly to preventing global warming and climate change.
Target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 45% by 2030
According to the goal set out in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, it is to be reduced by 45 percent by 2030 compared to 2005. India has come very close to this goal.
33 percent decrease compared to 2005
According to the Third National Communications Report, for every unit increase in India's GDP by 2019, total greenhouse gas emissions have decreased by 33% compared to 2005. This is called emission intensity. It explains how much emissions are being used for economic progress. All countries are preparing tnc reports to tell about the work done by them to reduce emissions. The report will be sent to the Union Cabinet in India from where it will be sent to the UN, the report said, adding that between 2014-16, greenhouse gas emissions have been declining at an annual rate of 1.5 per cent. At the same time, between 2016-19, it has started declining at a rate of three per cent.
