Foreigners in India get 30-day visa extension, overstay penalty waived amid Middle East tensions

India will grant one-month visa extensions and waive overstay penalties for foreign nationals stranded in the country due to travel disruptions caused by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. In a post on X, the Consulate General of India in Dubai said the relief measures are aimed at helping travellers who are unable to leave India as flights and routes across parts of the Gulf region remain affected.
