Many areas, including Azadi Street, are so crowded with people that the vehicle had to be stopped for a while. The administration has appealed to the people to stay on the funeral route. According to officials, Khamenei's body will eventually be flown by helicopter to the funeral route so that people standing at a distance can have their last glimpses. After the funeral procession, Khamenei's body will be taken to the community for religious rites.
